The erbacce-poetry journal has been published quarterly as a chap-book since 2004 but as from 2021 it will expand to a bi-annual 96 page perfect bound top-quality book-style-journal published in Autumn and Spring. It will be divided into two halves and will highlight the work of two 'featured-poets' plus a wide selection of poetry from other highly talented poets world-wide. Cover price will be £10.00.
A FULL list of every erbacce-journal ever published is at the foot of this page. Back copies are available.
IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION;
As from Autumn 2025 we will no longer send out hard copies of our journal to countries outside of the UK and some parts of the EU. This is due to spiralling postal charges and imort duties being imposed by Customs. Instead we shall be sending (free) PDF versions to poets included in each edition. More below:-
WE HAVE A PROBLEM. When the UK voted to leave the EU (HUGE mistake); two things happened which hit us hard; 1) Postal charges to overses rocketed and 2) Many countries (the vast majority) now impose import taxes/duties on books we send abroad. We believe some of these are deliberately punitive and seem to be imposed in an arbitrary manner but what is certain is that we can no longer ask customers to pay the extortionate costs involved when sending a journal outside of the UK. So, until the situation changes we have decided to halt all oversea sales of the hard-copy version of the erbacce-journal and instead allow those interested in poetry to buy access to a PDF version which will be available for FIVE years (ie ten copies) for a token payment of £10.00.
So; subscribers outside of the UK will pay a one-off £10.00 charge and from then on, for the next five years, they will recieve via email a PDF version of the 96 page journal with full colour cover twice a year. Please download a sample copy (below) and use the password AAJMPU2004 to access it with our compliments.
With regard to post and packing of hard-copies of the journal within the UK
which WILL continue;
erbacce
will subsidise the cost of p/p as stated below. We will ask for a token £1.50 per copy from the subscriber.
IF you haven't subscribed yet please do so now! Join the erbacce-cooperative and help us in our fight to get a fair deal for poets by combatting the hundreds of online sites who ask you to pay a 'reading fee' or a 'submission fee' just to enter their money-making so-called 'competitions'. The annual erbacce-prize for poetry has been free-to-enter for fifteen years and that is how it will remain!
